The center of the cable core is a metal reinforcement. For some fiber optic cables with a certain number of cores, the non-metallic center reinforcement is wrapped with a polyethylene cushion layer, and the loose sleeve (and filling rope) is twisted around the center reinforcement to form a compact and round cable core. The gaps in the cable core are filled with water-resistant compounds, and the outer extruded aluminum flame retardant low smoke and halogen-free (LSZH) is used. Adhesive inner sheath, steel strip armor is applied to the inner sheath, water blocking compounds are filled in the gaps, and flame-retardant low smoke halogen-free (LSZH) outer sheath is extruded to form a cable.
