The GJYXFCH butterfly shaped introduced optical cable is mainly composed of colored optical fibers, non-metallic reinforcements, steel wire reinforcements, and sheath layers, as follows:
-Colored fiber optic: located at the center of the optical cable, it is the transmission medium for optical signals, usually using special bending resistant fibers such as G.657 fiber, which can provide larger bandwidth and enhance network transmission characteristics.
-Non metallic reinforcement: usually consisting of two parallel glass fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) located on both sides of the optical fiber, which can provide the fiber optic cable with good compressive performance and protect it from external compression damage.
-Steel wire reinforcement: On the outer side of the optical cable, it is made of steel wire or steel wire rope material and serves as a key part of the self-supporting structure. It is used to bear most of the tension during installation, making the optical cable suitable for outdoor overhead introduction and other scenarios.
-Sheath layer: It is usually made of low smoke and halogen-free materials, which have the characteristics of flame retardancy and environmental protection. It can protect the internal optical fibers and reinforcement components from external environmental factors (such as moisture, mechanical damage, etc.), and the groove design is easy to peel off, making it convenient for splicing operations.
